´ I live where my VYVEY-MIX stands ´
5 July Spain, Tarifa (Worldcup PKRA Spain)
Yesterday (4the of July) we had a perfect wind for 10 meter and we did the first round of the main event. I had to face Cesar Portas, I was a bit stupid, cause my heat was already started and I was still walking on the beach. Anyway, once on the water I went for the best. I managed to do some nice tricks as a very powered 313 and a kung-fu double S-bend handle pass. Unfortunatly not enough to beat the spanian Portas (who´s ranked quiet high on the worldranking).
Today there was a very hard lavante wind blowing, the judges noticed gusts from over 60 knots!! Even to much wind to finish the competition.
In the doubles i was very unlucky as well, I had to face the german 'Super Mario' and lost against him.
This event really motivated me again to go riding even more, I want to show that I can do better on the next worldcup!
First junior place @ Malibu days Today I participated at the famous Malibu contest. 44 participants and I ended up first with the juniors!! Big fun as usual but still very tiring!! And of course a nice party..

Me on TV! The 17th of July I had an interview on Focus WTV

A weekly sensation magazine (about famous people!??) for youngsters. Poster Malibu On my way back home this afternoon I passed the Chill´out and was quite surprised to notice a picture of myself on a poster hanging at their shop-window.
My picture is on the Malibu flyer as well.
Unfortunatly that competition is on the same date as the Belgium junior championship. That´s why I´m hesitating a little bit between these two competitions. Both competitions have freaky nice prices.

New slide in shape!!
I´ve not been able to kite for a few days now because of back problems. I went to a medcin for a back-check and he took some pictures. Luckily it´s nothing really serious (as you can see on the scan) and normally I´ll be riding in 2 weeks again 10/04/07, The Netherlands (Workum) 1st place @ Sticked event!!!
