LEANDER G. C. VYVEY
Leander was born in Ghent, Belgium, to actress Chantal Claes and architect Jan Vyvey.
He started acting at a young age in local theatre companies before becoming a successful kite-surfer, winning 4 Belgium Champion titles as well as winning the KPWT Kitesurfing World Championship in Italy, 2008.
When Leander's professional kite-surfing career ended due to a shoulder injury, Leander focussed on acting once again.
He trained in Madrid and London and has since been active in various film, television and theatre productions.
Some recent projects include the films Closet Girl (Angeles Reiné, Netflix), Rescue Under Fire (Alonso Martínez, Tornasol) as well as the TV series 45 RPM (David Pinillos, Antena 3), Hanna (Amazon Prime), Queens (Jose Luiz Moreno, BBC) and Flack (George Kane - featuring Anna Paquin, UK TV).
